Terms of service
LookAI AB, org. nr 559524-8799 · Last updated 21 October 2026
1. Who we are
Pressfinch is run by LookAI AB, a Swedish limited company with org. nr 559524-8799 (“Pressfinch”, “we”, “us”). These terms are the agreement between us and the business that uses Pressfinch (“you”). By creating an account or using Pressfinch, you accept them.
2. For businesses only
Pressfinch is a tool for brands, shops, game studios, software companies, startups and the agencies that work for them. By signing up you confirm that you use Pressfinch for your business, and that you are allowed to accept these terms for the business you sign up for. Pressfinch is not offered to consumers, so consumer rules such as the 14-day right of withdrawal do not apply.
3. Your account and team
You sign in with a link sent to your email. Keep that inbox safe: anyone who can open it can open your account.
An account can hold one or more brands and team members. The plan and the credits belong to the account, not to one brand or one person. The account owner decides who is on the team and what each person may do, and is responsible for what the team does in Pressfinch.
If you are an agency running brands for clients, you confirm that each client has allowed you to act for them in Pressfinch, and you are responsible towards us for what happens on those brands.
4. What Pressfinch does
Pressfinch reads your public website and what you tell it, drafts press releases, pitches and sample offers, suggests journalists and creators who fit your story, and sends the emails you approve from your own connected inbox. It also hosts a public newsroom for each brand and looks for coverage you get.
We keep improving Pressfinch, so features change over time. We will not take away a main part of a paid plan during a month you have already paid for.
5. Plans, credits and payment
- The Free plan lets you scan your site and draft releases and offers. Sending needs a paid plan.
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment provider Stripe, in euros. Prices on the pricing page are without VAT, which is added where it applies.
- One credit is one email to one person, or one outlet contact form we fill in for you. Follow-ups are free. Drafting never costs credits.
- Each paid month adds the plan’s credits to the account. Top-up credits are bought once, are used after your monthly credits and do not expire while the account is open.
- Credits have no cash value, cannot be moved to another account and are not refunded, unless the law requires it or the credits were used up because of a fault on our side.
- If a payment fails, the account may move to the Free plan until the payment goes through.
- We may change prices. We will email the account owner at least 30 days before a new price applies, and it applies from your next billing month. You can cancel before then.
6. Cancelling
You can cancel your plan at any time in Settings. Payments stop and the account moves to the Free plan straight away. We do not refund the rest of a month already paid.
Your drafts, newsroom and media network stay on the account, and you can export your network at any time. Credits left on the account can be used again if you pick a paid plan later.
7. Your inbox and how emails are sent
Pitches and offers are sent from the inbox you connect (for example Google or Microsoft), through our email provider Nylas. You are the sender of these emails. You allow us to send the emails you approve from that inbox, and to read the replies to them so they show up in your Pressfinch inbox. You can disconnect the inbox at any time.
To protect you and the people you write to, Pressfinch paces sending. Emails go out one by one with a random gap between them, at most 25 a day per inbox, with at most one follow-up per person per campaign. Each journalist gets only a limited number of emails a month across all brands, and we may pause sending if opt-outs or bounces rise. You agree not to work around these limits.
8. What you may and may not send
You are responsible for everything you send and publish through Pressfinch. You agree to:
- send only relevant, one-to-one press, review and sample emails about your own brand or a client’s brand, never newsletters, bulk marketing or spam;
- read every release, pitch and offer before it goes out, and fix anything that is wrong;
- make sure what you send and publish is true and not misleading, and that you have the right to use the text, photos, logos and trademarks you upload;
- respect every opt-out, and never email someone again through Pressfinch, or from a list you exported, after they asked you to stop;
- follow the laws that apply to you, including data protection and marketing law and the rules on marking gifted products and paid collaborations as advertising.
You may not use Pressfinch for illegal products or content, to harass or deceive anyone, to copy, scrape or resell the media list, to test our security without our written permission, to overload the service, or to share a login with people outside your team.
If an account breaks these rules, we may pause its sending or suspend it. Where we reasonably can, we tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
9. AI-written drafts
Pressfinch uses AI models, currently Google Gemini on Google Cloud, to read your site and to write drafts, matches and summaries. AI can get things wrong. Pressfinch is told never to add claims you did not give it, but you are the one who checks and approves every text before it is sent or published.
We do not use your content to train AI models, and under Google Cloud’s terms Google does not use it to train its models either.
10. Your content
You own what you upload and what Pressfinch drafts for you. You give us the right to store, process, show and send it only as needed to run Pressfinch for you, for example to show your newsroom to the public and to send the emails you approve.
Everyone you pitch lands in your media network with the full history, and you can export it at any time. Once exported, you are responsible for how you use that list.
We may use anonymous, combined figures about how Pressfinch is used to improve it. These never identify you, your brands or the people you write to.
11. The media list
The journalists and creators Pressfinch suggests are found from public sources, such as articles they published and contact details they or their outlet made public. We hold this media list ourselves and are responsible for it under the GDPR. The privacy page explains how, and anyone on the list can see, correct or remove their details.
We work to keep the list correct, but we cannot promise that every address, role or outlet is current. We also cannot promise coverage, replies or any other result.
12. Personal data you bring
For personal data you put into Pressfinch, such as your team, contacts you add or import, and people who reply to you, you are the controller and we process the data for you. We do so only to run Pressfinch on your instructions, keep it confidential and secure, help you answer requests from the people it concerns, tell you without undue delay about a breach that affects it, and delete it when the account is closed.
We use these subprocessors: Google Cloud (hosting, database and AI), Nylas (inbox connection), Stripe (payments), Resend (sign-in and account emails) and Cloudflare (domain and network). We will tell you before we add a new one, and you may object. A full data processing agreement under Article 28 of the GDPR is available on request.
13. Availability and support
We aim to keep Pressfinch running at all times, but we do not promise a set uptime. We may need short breaks for maintenance and updates. For help, write to us on the contact page or at hello@pressfinch.com.
14. No liability
Pressfinch is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any promise or warranty that it fits your purpose, works without errors or breaks, or gives any result such as coverage, replies or sales.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage connected to Pressfinch or these terms. This covers, among other things:
- what you or your team send, publish or upload, and how journalists, creators or others react to it;
- texts, matches, contact details and other content written or found by AI or taken from public sources, which you check before use;
- emails that are not delivered, are delayed, land in spam or are sent by mistake from your inbox;
- outages, lost or changed data, and faults in services we rely on, such as Google Cloud, Nylas, Stripe, Resend and Cloudflare;
- indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit, sales, coverage, data, goodwill or reputation.
If we are still found liable despite this, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the event that caused the claim. A claim must reach us in writing within 6 months of when you noticed, or should have noticed, the problem, or it is lost.
These limits do not apply where Swedish law does not allow liability to be limited, such as for loss we cause on purpose or through gross negligence.
You are responsible for, and will cover our costs, including reasonable legal costs, from, any claim by others that arises from what you send or publish through Pressfinch, your use of exported contacts, or your breach of these terms.
15. Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time by writing to us. We can end the agreement with 30 days’ notice by email, or straight away if you seriously break these terms or do not pay. If we end it without such a reason, we refund what you paid for the time after it ends.
After the account is closed you have 30 days to ask for an export. We then delete your account data within 90 days, except what we must keep by law, such as accounting records, which Swedish law requires us to keep for seven years.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For changes that matter, we email the account owner at least 30 days before they apply. If you keep using Pressfinch after that, the new terms apply. If you do not accept them, you can cancel before they apply.
17. Law and disputes
Swedish law applies to these terms, without its rules on choice of law. We will first try to solve any disagreement by talking. If that does not work, the dispute is settled by the Swedish courts, with Stockholm District Court (Stockholms tingsrätt) as the first instance.
18. Other
These terms, together with the plan you picked, are the whole agreement between us about Pressfinch. If one part is found invalid, the rest still applies. Neither of us is liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. You may not transfer the agreement to someone else without our consent; we may transfer it to a company that takes over Pressfinch.
